Organize your favorite websites


When you first went online, you probably learned very quickly that you could bookmarking websites you wanted to go back in the future. If you’re like many users, it probably did not take long before the list of favorites or bookmarks went all the way down the screen, and if you continue to add to them, that you rarely use them, because it is too difficult to find what you are looking for. Rather than destroy them all and start over, there are steps you can take to organize your Favorites in a way that you can easily find the information you need at any given time.

To begin with, you will want to make sure that all these links are still active, especially if you’ve been saving them for quite a while. Websites come and go, and even those that remain online can delete pages or move them around, so if you bookmark certain pages within your site, links may no longer work. ID, they are not visible to other users. Just as it is necessary to clean the paper file from time to time, you should occasionally clean Internet links.
